Greasley Leisure Centre
Wednesdays 5-6 pm
Greasley sessions run throughout the year - aimed at more advanced skaters
Equipment and prices:
Skates available to hire in most sizes if required
Used competition skates for sale at good prices
Charges: 1st visit £1, subsequent visits £2.50 per person (members)
£3.00 per person (non-members)
Membership costs £2.50 per person covering July 2008 to end of year
In 2009 the cost for membership will be £6 for the whole year
Lots of advantages in joining, ask for info sheet
Classes:
Skaters learn basic grades and can progress in freestyle and dance
Jon - an early club member
Tuition - something for everyone
Coaches teach at each session aided by volunteers
Glennys Fletcher is bronze standard, coaching basic grades at Selston
John Noakes is silver standard, teaching over 18s dance at Greasley
Cogratulations to Philippa Love for passing her Elementary Test
Zenith RSC is an active member of Roller Skating Central Coaches Group (RSCCG) mentored by international coach Joan Preston.
Competitions
The club enters competitions around the country:
Alumwell Nov 07 - skaters brought back one bronze and two silver medals
